Physics is in exciting subject because its laws are at work all around us. Check out what is happening at the UWL Physics Department:  UWL Physics  For more news on physics visit:  Physics Web

The teacher education program at La Crosse is very serious about producing quality teachers.  For further information view:  Teacher's Education  An important part of growing as a teacher is constantly reflecting on the true purpose of education.  This can be done by writing a personal philosophy of education.  For example, here is my first philosophy:  Education Philosophy

It is also important for future teachers to practice making lesson plans.  View an example lesson plan: Lesson Plan

Swimmer

Aside from all the school work I enjoy being active, especially in the great outdoors.  For two years I swam on the UWL Swim team.  This year La Crosse has a strong and fast team. For more information read through a newsletter I created: Newsletter  or check out the athletics webpage:   UWL Swimming   I also have a love for music and I am involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship:  www.ivcf.org

This website is a product of my Educational Media course which explores different technologies that could be used in the classroom.  The internet is a fast, easy, and valuable tool for exploring and researching an endless variety of subjects.  Future teachers must realize the internet's capability of encouraging learning. A few punches on the key pad and a clicks on a mouse brings you into a whole new exciting world where you can even find a silly college student's assignment.
